About This Blog
Ralph "Jake" Warner founded Nolo along with Ed Sherman in 1971, and is widely recognized as a pioneer of the do-it-yourself law movement. In addition to authoring a dozen self-help law titles and running Nolo as chief executive officer for much of the past four decades, Jake has long championed reforms to make the American legal system more accessible, affordable, and fair for all. Jake holds a law degree from Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California at Berkeley and an undergraduate degree from Princeton.
